Contact
In short: write to contact@claudiocardenas.dev. Every message is read by Claudio Cárdenas, who builds and runs delexif. It is one person, not a support team, so a reply can take a few days.
contact@claudiocardenas.dev is the only contact address for delexif, and for its sibling tool, delsub. There is no contact form, chat or account to sign in to.
What you can write about
- Something that doesn’t work. Say what you did, what you expected and what happened instead, and which browser and device you used.
- A mistake in a guide. If something in the guides is wrong or out of date, a link to the page and a short note is enough.
- Suggestions. A format or a metadata field that isn’t detected or removed, or an option you miss. Telling us the camera or app that produced the file helps most.
- Privacy questions and requests. Questions about the Privacy Policy, or requests about personal data, such as asking for a past email to be deleted.
- An ad that shouldn’t be there. If you see an ad that is misleading or inappropriate, tell us the page and, if possible, the advertiser’s name or a screenshot.
Please don’t send private files
delexif processes your photos on your device and never needs them to work. If an image causes a problem, please don’t send a photo with your location or other private data: describe the file (format, camera or app, size) or, if you can, send a test photo taken somewhere that doesn’t matter. Remember that an attachment may retain metadata, depending on how it is sent.
What happens to your message
Emails sent to this address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a mailbox hosted by Google (Gmail). The operator uses your address and message to reply, not to add you to a mailing list or use your message for advertising. You can ask for the conversation to be deleted. The Privacy Policy explains the role of these services.
